Gaetano has been exceptional and very welcoming. He did a great job introducing us and walking us through his beautiful apartment. The stay was very comfortable, modern and filled with all the amenities you'd need! No compaints for our stay, the balcony view is also beautiful!!! Gaetano - even though not listed as a Superhost - should be. His responses to our questions was always quick, friendly and helpful. As a host he made us feel like family and took great pride in the apartment, the additional amenities he provided, his sharing of his family's history and more. I have never stayed in an AirBnB where I felt more comfortable and special. He never hesitated with any of our requests and went out of his way to ensure we had what we needed and more. Gaetano understands the importance of treating a customer right and takes it one step further by making us feel more like friends than a guest renting his apartment.

Gaetano was a very friendly and helpful host. We really appreciated him going the extra mile to make our stay successful. His place has recently been renovated and was lovely, clean and welcoming, although probably better suited for guests who have their own transport. Beautiful views from the patio, just like the photos! Highly recommended to others!

Distances

Sorrento (10 minutes)

You can reach Sorrento in 10 minutes by car or by taking the local bus from the stop near the apartment.

Sorrento is famous for its history, being one of the destinations of the Grand Tour, and for its breathtaking views of the Gulf of Naples. I suggest visiting one of the many historic lemon groves, and while strolling through the streets filled with artisan shops, don't forget to explore the historic churches and visit the Cloister of San Francesco. Among the must-do activities, I recommend a day at sea or a sunset aperitif by the sea.

Positano (30 minutes)

You can reach Positano in 30 minutes by car or by taking the SITA bus from the stop near the apartment.

Positano is one of the gems of the Amalfi Coast, famous for its pastel-colored houses that climb up the steep hillside. Lose yourself in the narrow pedestrian streets filled with exclusive boutiques and local crafts. The pebble beaches and crystal-clear waters are perfect for a relaxing swim. I also recommend stopping at one of the many seaside restaurants to savor the local cuisine.

Pompei (60 minuti)

You can reach Pompeii in 40 minutes by car or by train from the "Circumvesuviana" station in Piano di Sorrento, which you can get to by taking the local bus from the stop near the apartment.

Pompeii is a world-renowned archaeological site, famous for the ruins of the Roman city buried by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. Stroll through ancient streets, houses, temples, and perfectly preserved amphitheaters. A visit to Pompeii is like stepping back in time, offering a fascinating glimpse into the daily life of the Romans. Don't miss the opportunity to see the casts of the eruption's victims and the incredible frescoes in the Roman villas.

Beaches

The strategic location of the apartment allows easy access, by car or bus, to most of the wonderful beaches along the coast.

Just a few minutes away, you'll find the enchanting beaches of Meta, renowned for their golden sands and crystal-clear waters, perfect for sunbathing or a refreshing swim.

Sorrento, with its picturesque coves and the fascinating beaches of Marina Grande and Marina Piccola, offers a unique blend of natural beauty and historical charm.

Not far away, Massa Lubrense boasts pristine beaches and breathtaking panoramas, ideal for those who enjoy exploring quieter and more secluded spots.

Each beach on the Sorrento Peninsula has its own distinctive character, yet all share the incredible beauty of the Mediterranean.

About me

Hi! I am Gaetano Maria, a freelancer with a passion for music, nativity art, ecological hiking, and travel. In my free time, I enthusiastically dedicate myself to various activities and non-profit associations, supporting many causes that are close to my heart such as the human and social promotion of less fortunate people and for African children. Like my father, I am passionate about rosoli, a symbol of our peasant family that still carries on the agricultural business started by my great-grandfather in 1916 in the garden in Piano di Sorrento.

I decided to open the doors of my home in the beautiful Sorrento Coast to offer my guests an authentic and unforgettable experience.

By booking my apartment, I will donate 5% of the proceeds to the non-profit organization "Onlus Gruppo Africa Terra delle Sirene" for the social promotion of children in some communities in Tanzania and Kenya: some artworks and photos, created by the communities we've supported, decorate the house.
